For our purposes, there are four stages of the sales process.
1) Attention
2) Interest
3) Desire
4) Action
Or, the AIDA model. Now, If you have any experience in sales, you’ll recognize this as a pretty timeless model.
This model is the whole “formula” of our strategy.
Now, what are the Four components any Email?
1) Subject
2) Subhead or Intro
3) Body Copy (Sales Writing & Media) and,
4) Calls to Action (or, CTAs)
And these components are what build the structure of your Email:
- The Subject: gets their attention
- The Sub-head(s) & Intro: build interest
- The Body Copy (including Media): increases desire
- The Call to Action: gets them to act
